Reminder that COD players are hoping Battlefield 6 will do well, so Infinity Ward are pressured to really deliver with Modern Warfare 4 in 2026 so they can go back to playing COD again. That's how fucking shit Battlefield's "reputation" is. This new DICE hasn't delivered a SINGLE good game. As much as I don't like Battlefield 1, at least that game was functional and had somewhat of a vision of what it wanted to be.

I barely played 5, but i sort of agree that it wasn't as bad as people said, i think the campaign just sucked and some things in the multiplayer that didn't gel.
However it was still a continuation of the forced diversity cringe and the game design leaning more towards what would become 2042 (especially in a historical setting again, where its even more noticeable) and was obviously not going to slide with a lot of FPS players.

I'll see when the open beta comes out. When 2042's beta came out, the models in the main menu didn't load properly and I couldn't even load into a game. Surely it can't get worse than that.
