This moment of the game gave me such a strong nostalgic feeling inside of me. That I suddenly felt like I was a little kid and just rented a mystery NES game for my birthday and am enjoying it with friends. I wish this portion of Chapter 3 could have been longer to play in.

I wasn’t a fan at first, but subsequent play-throughs made me love it. It’s a very neat idea to have a fake couch gaming with the bros experience within a game (and then having that juxtaposed to the lone gamer segments where you are dementedly grinding out levels to beat an esoteric pair of dungeons).

I wish enjoying this until the second act, because you know, I had more games than Zelda.

I really like how Susie in particular feels like she's actually a person playing a game and not just an AI bot following you. Must have taken a lot of work to get right.

Funny joke, pal. But the Playtesters NEVER lie! You wouldn't have handled a third board

Yeah, they really nailed that part. Especially the controller swapping segment. It may not have been super critical to the story, but it was all so fun.

People were waiting for Deltarune for years but when they get extra Deltarune content they suddenly don't want it

I think many were just turned off by Chapter 3 since it was a breather moment in the plot.

The solution would've been to hide the 3rd board really well, just like the snowgrave route. Except instead of mindbreaking Noelle, it's just the fun gang sticking around for one more extra long board. So everybody plays through the game at reasonable pacing, and then can go back in for the extra board once it's discovered.

The plot is pretty much the same style from Chapter 2, except you don't get all the overworld exploration and boss battles from chapter 2.

You can just play Little King Story, Deltarune just ripped that game off anyways.
