I mostly blame timed exclusives. There's no point in buying Stellar Blade on PS5 when the definitive edition is coming when the game reaches PC. If Elden Ring was and remained exclusive to the PS5 you could have added another 0 to the back of it's 'Copies sold'.

This is honestly just baffling. Even if you added all those games together, the sum is only around 40M. Where are the other 60M in game sales? What are people even playing on PS5 if the console has sold 100M. At least with Nintendo the sales numbers make actual sense, like 50% of Switch 1 owners had MK8D and like 10 to 20 different games had over 10 million sales.

It's kind of sad because Rebirth actually is their best ARPG styled game by like a mile. But as a big fan of the original it also kind of leaves a sour taste in my mouth and I know a bunch of people that played the first part and skipped Rebirth. My opinion of it is the same as the first part, the parts that they faithfully adapted are great and the added shit is mostly garbage.
