I am only against paying money for it, as a game that cost little to nothing to make should be free and if they try and pass it off as human made yet did not pass down their reduced dev costs to me, the potential consumer, I would feel tricked and resentful.

If you can produce unlimited QUALITY content with no effort for next to nothing super fast. It all loses all value and becomes almost meaningless. The finale of ai games is you can just tell your computer what game you want and itll make you one immediately. Then you'll get bored in five minutes because you know you can have a new one, and make a new one. Repeat ten times until you stop caring.

Right now ai can't make anything as good as hand made stuff. So it won't replace much yet. But if it keeps going like this unchecked it eventually will.

Because while it can be an useful tool to attempt to save some time, get cheaper assets and code, or generally just trying something new, several devs will use it irresponsibly because they can be lazy pieces of shit.
We got better computers, and instead of using the tech to the max and try new things they end up making bloatware that will make your PC explode by just trying to run a shitty 15 minutes walking sim that occupies 30gbs of space because the lighting burns the gpu, and the sound is uncompressed, because why bother compressing it when you can shove it all in the internet without a care?
Now with AI we can do all of that with a lot less effort by a guy who dropped out of Collage on the second semester never ever learning how to program.
I don't really hate AI, i hate the pieces of shit who will just abuse this shit.

Like, it's art. It's for fun. It doesn't have to have a point, it's not an excuse for nobody doing it. Realistically, I'd say nobody does such elaborate parallax animations because it would be incredibly fucking hard and high effort to do. Does that not mean AI does something others won't?
