>>716375551 (OP) Seems fine for 90ās games in great condition, though they add up. My problem is the random $100-$300 games like silent hill. Iām not starting a collection if I have to pay that much for one piece of plastic to complete it
>game i had multiple times as a teen, but it always got fucked up for some reason >almost everyone i know somehow wrecked their copies as well >what was once a 20 dollar game is now 200 >mfw i didnt buy it when i saw it for like 40 bucks years ago, and thought that was too much

>>716375893 >$57 on ebay Should I do it? I held off on buying carts because everdrive exists, but never wanted to spend the money on it
you can get it for 45 on aliexpress, and since is open source is the same shit it runs all games, all DD games, has clock support for animal crossing and even runs both NTSC and PAL roms
meanwhile Krikzz overpriced trash now its obsolete lmao
>>716375551 (OP) Those are moderately worthless as collector's items, since they're opened and not particularly rare. So, if you're not collecting, emulate. If you want original hardware, flashcart it. There's no reason to buy those carts unless you want to hoard in case they become worth something.

>>716377029 this is appealing but I cannot go back to a vanilla N64 controller the stick is so shit, what are the alternatives
N64 games are fun. The only reason I'm not playing mine more is my Super Mario 64 battery doesn't hold saves anymore and I never have time to sit down and figure out how to replace the battery properly

I caved in and sold a lot of my physical collection cause I was on the brink of being homeless until I got a big promotion. It was a pain of selling things to different individual buyers but you make way more money in the long run. I contacted one of those resellers that buy in bulk and he tried to scam me by offering me a Nintendo Switch and PS5 for my entire PS1/PS2 collection that was worth more than $1000 if I sold the games individually. In the end I made roughly $3800 which was enough to help me on a down payment on a car that I desperately needed.

>>716379335 >N64 good game availability is terrible >N64 controller is shit >N64 emulation sucks It's time, anon. It's been 30 years, notice the pattern already. Childhood was good. N64 wasn't that good. You won't recapture your childhood through replaying mediocre games on a below average system.

>>716375937 Who's paying for that? Especially if can play in other ways.
I remember when N64 was one of the cheapest consoles to collect, outside shit like Majora Mask, Pokemon Stadium 2 and actually rare shit like Worms Armageddon or Starcraft 64, most games were between 10 to 20 bucks with the big ones being up to $35.
>wahhh these games are too expensive >I WANT THEM!!! LET ME BUY THEM BUT FOR WAY CHEAPER holy retard. the price is like that because there is an endless treadmill of coomlectors like OP that want to buy 30 year old games
>>716380050 I feel like such a clever bastard getting Pokemon Stadium 2 for $20, Snowboard Kids 2 for $50, and Starcraft 64 for $50. Majora's mask has been expensive for a really long time, even back in 2013 when I was first buying 64 games that one was always at least $50.

>>716382207 Yeah Wetrix sucks. I'm not sure why that game used to get sucked off by N64 fags. There's FAR better underrated stuff for the system, like Rocket Robot on Wheels, or Gauntlet Legends.
>>716382790 Lack of games explains it all when it comes to 64 fags.
