15 minutes in and I quit, all it is is an exercise in frustrating controls and bad camera angles combined with no gameplay and no explanation. Just walk around until you find the thing that is obviously a trigger and mash all the buttons until you find which one does something to let you move to the next room made with the same 5 textures.

The buttons are all separate for separate actions for no good reason and even that would be fine if they didn't change contextually. One button to jump, one to attack, one to push blocks, one to interact with the alien girl, but then climb a chain and the controls get all fucked and the button to jump no longer jumps and every button seems to make you climb up or down. It's frustrating as fuck when controls aren't consistent during context changes.

Filtered by based ICO. One of the best games on the PS2 by the way. A beautiful evolution of 90s cinematic platformers. I'm glad you didn't like it, I don't want my favourite games to be tainted by low IQ brown zoomers.

Triangle makes Ico jump on the ground and jump from ropes. No buttons make you go up or down the rope. The circle button makes Ico go limp so you can swing the chain, and X makes him drop down without leaping forward.

This is extremely simple. None of the buttons make Ico move up and down the rope. I'm starting to think you haven't even played this game.
