With Supergirl, Powergirl or other spinoff characters you run into the same usual problem. Why are they doing what they doing? Who is their villain and supporting cast? Kara is a supporting character herself how in the fuck is she gonna have her own inner-circle and city when her identity is centered around Superman? I would do a Superman game based off a story he had called up in the sky, make it open world and explore different planets getting to and from earth as well as having a small little map for metropolis in the beginning and end of the game, and each world can just have like a small map with some cool things, it wouldn’t really be an open world game but it would be open I guess. You can throw in some villains too like Mongul and Brainiac running into Superman, maybe even Lobo for movie synergy, saving the little girl while avoiding space villains and exploring worlds trying to get leads on her can be the emotional arc of the story

It's absolutely true, even in times where DC tried to put Kara on the forefront by saying she has crazy potential to be stronger than Clark, especially noticeable in her return in 2003, DC puts a lid on it and tell writers to make Kara weaker than Clark again.

But it also gave us the best Lois and Lex we've had in fucking forever. Mrs. Maisel was almost as good as Erica Durance. Quip Gunn is annoying, but the casting was really good. I honestly didn't think Beast/Menu guy would make a good Lex but he really captured Lex's pettiness. I just don't think you can make a game around a character with super speed. People say that a Superman game could just involve stopping threats with a limited amount of city damage to get around his durability, but it still doesn't work when you put speed feats into the equation. I'd like to see a John Constantine game but that would likely end up like telltale bullshit.

No one gives a fuck about Aquaman but it might make for a good game. His swimming would basically be akin to flying, he has super strength, his various fish bullshitteries would act like spells. I think if there's an untapped DC superhero game Aquaman is an obvious suggestion - it would just be difficult to market. People already think Aquaman is lame and The Deep from The Boys didn't do him any favours in mainstream eyes. Plus you have Khal Drogo being a terrible meme actor also detracting from things. I do think an Aquaman game would work if it could get past those obstacles though.

Superman only gets truly hurt by his own clone who has no remorse or restraint and is fed information on how to counter Clark. Even if you're completely indestructible, having the pulmonary diffusion of your lungs and the light absorption of your eyes blocked by nanomachines will make you useless. I just wish he had sunbathed and melted and expelled them rather than crashing into earth from orbit and that somehow KOing the Engineer made him able to purge the bots via vomit. I thought that scene was the weakest part of the movie and it made no sense to me. Everyone hates that scene and how Superman dealt with it. I personally hate it because this is a superhero who doesn't need to breath oxygen or even eat, because he's got solar batteries in his cells. He chills out on the Moon at the end, so this very movie shows that this version of Superman can survive in a vacuum. Some nanites in his lungs wouldn't actually do shit to him, and there's no way he would let a whole lung full of them into himself before super sneezing them out.

Also while he could just burn the nanites out, that would kill the Engineer, so he can't be doing that. I would have had him just fly really, really fast and stop suddenly to let g-forces pull the nanites out of him.
