You probably noticed that most indie games tend to be horror in some way or another, which made me really curious. is it because easier to make or just because it's trendy to make horror games?

Classic horror elements are easy to make. Being alone is creepy, and means you don't have to program crowds or interactions. Darkness is creepy, so you don't have to have nice lighting or detailed environments. Claustrophobia is creepy, so you can make small confined maps.

Some scum like the feeling of being master. Responsible for what they make suffering. Being the position that doesn't suffer through doing it to others, assigning it to creations.

That said it could be just the best they can do, ferrying them to me and you, to care for, make right, righter.
If you know how it's wrong, you know how it's right (/better, righter, you know what is superior to it).

One of a long line helping to be human. Never ending maybe a good system. Things always better and enjoying life. Making things better themselves through existing.

Silent Hill 2 was a good game.
Some stuff wrong not denied, but gone through, resisted, getting something from. Horrors faced. Life ignoring not good enough. See how things are, one way of how they are, take responsibility for making them, for being bad, failing, for making ugliness to avoid confrontation, for what you are engaged with and suffering. Your selfishness taking way the help others need, keeping the good you were given rather than getting it out, making it bigger. Others, abominations or whatever you call them, seeing them less than the heavens you were armed with and consumed yourself, forgotten fuel, spent, dying with you... They adjusting to lesser life. Or remaining ready to receive, twisted by world, life, they not filled with the good you had to give, which would fill them and push against pressure, giving or keeping their human form. Their vibrance under an adaptation or interface with otherwise. A dominance or participation with adverse conditions. Gains through experimentation etc, hospital, education. Adjusted to an absence of you, going over what was available, turning it different ways, taken apart, pieces, less, screaming, or satisfied suffering, hope accepted as illusion and torment. Tries to recreate you, and what to through you, what good from, you negated, forgotten, copied etc. A lot without you. An eternity.
You confronting that like a joke, too late. And slowly not. Or late as you linger, not enough. A lot right, and loved, given to you or not a question, keep you pure and keep building from that, memory and presence now, or corrupting you and all hell. Risk with it for heaven????????????????????....
Frailty says yes. Safety forsaken. The wrong choice you need to save them from and make right. Up to you. Done for you making you replaced and you both rejected. Chaos or not, but not you both continued. Conscious. Or chapters. Fiction. Little parts instead of everything.
