At this point I just have to accept I am out of touch. I never understood the continued, immense popularity of GTA. All of them have pretty weak stories and from game to game very varied quality of gameplay in terms of combat, driving, etc. They are all solid games, but I can't pinpoint anything that explains the level of success and continued obsession with them.
