I forgot about RTS, which are still alive somewhat. Age of Empires 2 Definitive is quite popular.

No signs of dying. Upcoming games include Marvel Tokon, Invincible VS, Combo Devils, 2XKO (which is f2p), and Nen Impact just came out. Even if they stopped coming out, you only need one person to play them so they will always be playable.
