How so? I frequently read steam reviews to get to the bottom of if a game is good or not. Additionally, I use reviews to inform other anons and give a spotlight to indie games that otherwise wouldn't get the attention/recognition. I've spoken to game devs who say that they are often inspired by amateur reviews to keep making games
