It isn't. The Japanese consistently draw themselves with the most beautiful and white characteristics that only .00000001% of their population can even come close to.
Look at all of the examples the weebs are posting in this thread. It's all female Japanese models with heavy makeup and photoshop, and a giant white light pointing at their face.

When they draw black characters, they literally use the ugliest George Floyd looking mother fuckers they can find. They look like minstrel characters, doughnut lips and all. They often do this with Chinese characters as well, emphasizing the epicanthic fold - that they like to pretend they don't have, and swarthy skin.

And they're right. Black people don't complain about Barrett in the new FF, or Marvin in RE2, or Drebin in MGS4, or Solomon Reed in Cyberpunk, because they look cool. Latinos praise Carlos from RE3 because he looks cool.
You are not Geralt. You are not Drake. And you are not Joel. You are not Cloud. These are ideals. If you're going to draw yourself as an ideal, then draw everyone like their ideals, or no one at all.
