This was a Nintendo-approved 3DS game from 2014.

I wish I could say that this is irrelevant considering the existence of Stella Glow, Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven and the Nintendo 3DS version of Conception II...but this just really shows that things have gotten really bad. Censorship in video games can always get worse and it got worse compared to 2018-2022...

Censorship is a good thing because it forces developers to make good games rather than relying on fanservice.
Senran Kagura deservedly died because it couldn't evolve into a legitimate game series; which is even more embarrassing given how action games started their renaissance thanks to Devil May Cry and Sekiro so a good Senran Kagura game could have taken the gaming market by storm.

Stellar Blade shows that fanservicey games can be successful on Sony consoles as long as the game itself is good.

Because Nintendo has actual standards and wouldn't have allowed shovelware on its platform. The first Senran Kagura games were allowed because Nintendo wanted to give a new property a chance.

What are you talking about? The things published by Aldora Games and Pakotime say otherwise. Nintendo has standards in the sense that it's like ''as long as it can run at all and your Nintendo Switch doesn't explode, it's fine'' but like the other platform holders, they obviously don't really care about the quality of third-party games.

Uh, no, you can still get digital games for PS Vita, PS4 and Nintendo Switch for now, we don't get new PS Vita games anymroe but the Playstation Store for PS Vita is still supported and in the case of PS4 and Nintendo Switch there are still games coming for those two consoles, so, in the immediate future the online stores for those two consoles aren't going anywhere.

Senran Kagura is the only coomerslop game I have played that is genuinely good and I am extremely butthurt that I will likely never get to play any of them again via legitimate means.
