Hitman thread?
How the fuck do some of the challenges work, like the Paris one and gaslamp explosions. You can't do them in any disguise so do you just not go for silent assassin for some of them?
>>716425617 (OP)a lot of them are just for fun
that gas lamp one you can do easily SA, disguises don't matter for that. Dalia will kill herself with one if you loosen it beforehand and trigger the fireworks. Viktor goes near several if you make him meet with the guy in the gardens, you have to do some npc manipulation to make it only kill him
>>716426326Yeah but I tend to get caught a bit and don't like the whole 'lure the npcs away and ko them' it's weird as fuck
>>716425617 (OP)>do you just not go for silent assassin for some of them?fuck no are you kidding? save the game, get the challenge, reload, do a different challenge etc. if you had to do a full SA run for each challenge it would take 5000 hours
>>716427879I meant like atually keeping your SA
Some of them seem like you will break the SA
>>716425617 (OP)SA, Suit Only, and SASO are all separate challenges in themselves. The game only cares about pulling them off once, anything after that is your own autism getting the better of you.
>>716429572yes they are to encourage other playstyles much like freelancer
>>716434620that explains a lot
>>716431115Huh, interesting. I might just do non-sa for the challenges and escalations
Do they have cross progression at all?
>>716437502I don't know
If you play on PC just get the peacock project
what is your favorite sniper rifle?
>>716425617 (OP)they shouldn't waste money on celebrities but the mission themselves are kino. it'd be great if every non-celeb elusive target mission had so much care put into it
>>716441950I still think a proper map editor would be better
>>716443586using the plywood props and missile silo from the 2016 tutorial levels
>>716441950>they shouldn't waste money on celebritiesWhy not? I'm sure they get a great return on their investment. New players will purchase WoA just for the celeb elusives. It keeps the game relevant.
>>716445506>stealing random boarding passes to try and get close to the target>tsa frisks everywhere>mission exits include a 9/11 style hijacking and a baggage caddy>banned in several countries for giving people funny ideasto be desu it doesnt sound that appealing
>>716425617 (OP)>so do you just not go for silent assassin for some of them?yes that's the fun of it. saso is piss easy in every level because there's always some gaping security hole made precisely for it. a lot of disguise/item challenges are fun, its shame they deleted a shitload of them from the original releases.
>>716446189I bet this actually caused an increase in sales of the celeb packs because now people worry it won't be there anymore if they wait for a sale. FOMO on top of FOMO.
>>716446189they're afraid of getting canceled.
>>716445506>>716445931We had one in SA, newfags
>>716446740>we had one 23 years agoCool, now make another one nigger.
>>716445806>>716446189>>716446357Nobody will buy your game because Mads is in a mini-mission Bjorn. Release all the elusives permanently already you scandi faggot.
>>716446961Sir, your peacock project on PC???
this isn't a hitman thread
it's a hitman woa thread
name it accordingly
>>716447332I recently saw Victoria Burnwood SFM porn, I did not care for it.
Rememeber to go claim your Twitch rewards hitbros.
>>716446961I hate whatever fuckhead is in charge of elusives. He's a little bitch about it too, no one likes elusives and instead of releasing them permanently they release the arcade bullshit which still puts you on a timer. Now you got gay ass shit like
>>716447539.
How do you guys feel about the fact that hitman will be completely shelved for the next 10 years so that IOI can make shitty 007 games?
>>716447383We can talk about the other Hitman games, if you want, anon
For me, it's Contracts > SA > BM > 47
>>716447613I hate IOI so much it's unreal. They killed my favorite franchise with this always online, FOMO bullshit. I will NEVER buy nuHITMAN. Even Absolution is better.
>>716447750i never cared much for contracts, why rate it above SA?
Some of the modes are hilariously broken. One of the signature bosses when you beat him it plays this weird fucking cutscene where he yells AHH and stands up off the middle platform for the patient. Like for no reason clearly a glitch and they just never fixed it, lmfao
>>716447837SA had some glitches in it
While I don't specifically like contracts the most (that unironically goes to the training mission in Absolution as I felt they finally got the 'do shit you want' down without janky as fuck AI), I think Contracts overall made it clear in that it was 'we have a level, we made the level how we want, now fuck around and find the one way to do it all'
>>716447724if we get the improved VR on pc i can sink another 1000+ hours recompleting everything
if it then subsequently had freelancer compatibility i might be able to wait for the next hitman game
>>716445806Why do character models in this game look straight out of the PS2?
>>716446189>you're not allowed to kill a rapistWhat did IOI mean by this?
This is now a Contracts thread
>>716448338Massive levels, tons of environment interactability, and hundreds of NPCs.
PS4/Xbone could not handle it with a higher level of detail.
>>716447764Just mod it out bro. Absolution is a tech demo for WOA
>>716448617>>716448884we had a paddleboat but i'd like something like the movie dead calm
might not be the best fit for 47 but still a great setting for small scale murder
>>716425617 (OP)I started playing this yesterday. Not getting the challenge for putting the nigger into wardrobe the first time you did the tutorial mission was a bit drab but I guess challenges don't unlock until you have to do the mission all over.
>>716427028lmao felt like a cartoon trying to breadcrumb that Norfolk dunce away from the cops with coins
>a world famous hitman gets framed for murder and has to clear his name
Is there literally any way to make a plot more retarded?
>>716449318add black nuns in latex firing bazookas at him
>>716449549wtf I love niggresses now?
>>716449807/v/ isn't a board for racists. Fuck off!

How do I buy and play this game
How do I know if I already have?
Is this just demo stuff? I've gotten a bunch of bundles over the years with bits and pieces.
>>716450182It's only $140 for the deluxe edition and all the extra DLCs that are still available.
>>716450265You have the standard edition based on the DLCs listed there.
It's missing 7 Deadly Sins, Sarajevo Six, and H2's DLC missions, but you can buy them separately without rebuying the deluxe edition.
This game is a steaming pile of shit... Why do we get gloves as a reward for elusive targets? What happened to gun customization? They couldn't have practical rewards?
>>716451265>Why do we get gloves as a reward for elusive targets?colorado gives you a hat
>What happened to gun customization?swapped for more 'unique' guns
>They couldn't have practical rewards?probably not, depends what you mean

I got the game from Steam (demo full download) and crack/peacock off cs rin after freelancer was added but before they went full retard. I will not be updating.
>>716451895Damn look at those SA dick-sucking lips
I'm going to say it.
Sapienza is overrated and Haven is criminally underrated.
>>716453482Haven is pretty fucking good. Always nice to chill on the beach before starting the mission
>>716446740>We had one in SA, newfagsI don't remember 47 doing a hit in an airport in SA
>>716450265i read that even if you buy for everything you will always get keked from that connor mcgregor mission
>>716451895what the fuck happened in absolution?
contracts > bm > sa > woa > 2 > 47 > hitmong > absolution
>>716456758>what the fuck happened in absolution?tried too hard to make him more masculine
>>716451895Why does he look so worried in 1&2? I don't remember him looking like that at all in the actual games.
>>716457420looks more asian with his squint
>>716457420>1he just got out from the asylum and is on the run
>2his priest fren got kidnapped and he was suicidal after the first 4 missions
Would someone be down to buy me a copy of this game?
>>716457475>>716457504I meant the new games, bros...
>>7164575631 - raised inner brow
2 - lower cheekbones (possibly just bad lighting)
>>716453482sapienza is very pretty but so much of the map is completely useless even for contracts mode
>>716457678>useless even for contracts modepre-briefcases it was great for a sniper contract with targets spread out so have to combine sightlines with luring the targets where you can actually hit them
Hardest mission is working out what version of the game to buy. Still stuck on this one
>>716457940just spam payment until you have everything
if you dont have previous games bought already its well worth the dosh
>>716457530just stop being a poorfag
>>716450475It's also on sale on all the external key sites, so you can get all the content you need for like $40
>>716457940looks like probably the deluxe edition, or standard + deluxe pack, hitman 2 pack, and 7 deadly sins pack.
i need to take more screenshots
which is the prettiest map?
>>716462139Hokkaido (especially the daytime Patient Zero version)
>>716465128>Patient Zero versionnot the snow festival? i actually like all the pink lights
>>716465243I'm 100% biased since Patient Zero is the mission I've played the most. Snow Festival is also really nice.
Mendoza is also really beautiful
>>716465523>or Sapienzadeath of the author is probably my personal favorite
>>716462139Certain angles of Chonqing, you know, all the gorgeous rain slicked neon parts you spend zero time in before entering the worlds most boring lab for the whole level.
Playing the whole game for the first time rn, SAโing every level and going for cool kills when i can, not doing SASO because i think disguises are fun. Mixed bag. Every single problem Iโve encountered is solved by repeatedly, throwing coins, and then hitting somebody with a wrench. Especially if youโre willing to save and load, itโs coins and wrench every single time. Considering abandoning SA over this, because Iโm getting a little bored, the maps feel very samey. The mission rewards are also a little questionable to me, especially since you can do multiple in one run. Encountering the target, saving, fiber wiring him, loading, shooting him, loading, accident killing him, loading, drowning him, loading, you get the point, is the most rewarded way to play, but obviously isnโt fun at all. if you ask me, every level should have only had a reward for finishing it, a reward for silent assassin, a reward for suit only, and maybe a reward for only accident kills. Iโm aware of Peacock, but just from a game design perspective without cheating, I think that wouldโve been the most fun way to do it. Maybe people who want external motivation to grind out levels will disagree, but thatโs my opinion. I just made it to the ark Society map on the island. So far my favorite map is hokkaido by far, and my least favorite was ambrose island. Both targets were free kills and it was right after a different level full of smelly indians. I did a little bit of freelancer, hokkaido holds up well, but some of the other maps are pretty lame, Chonqing in freelancer sucks so much. Oh my god, you spend all your time in the incredibly lame underground area and the guys almost always just in the first level of it.
>>716468516If you want good gameplay then play Freelancer mode
>>71645189547 got that light skin stare with the first WOA
