>Title: F-Zero Forever
>Release: Q4 2026
>Dev: Sega AM2 supervised by Nintendo
>Switch 2 Exclusive, no Switch 1 version
>99 player mode returns from F-Zero 99
>Characters redesigned, similar art style to Smash Bros (picrel)
>Possible Star Fox collab/crossover

Are we hyped? Personally, I think the Switch 2 is oversaturated with racing games, between Mario Kart, Kirby Air Ride and Fast Fusion. Is it really a good time for a new F-Zero?

>sega AM2
even if this bullshit was true, this is a developer that's made nothing but miku games and releases of virtua fighter 5 for over 15 years, why would I give a shit or assume its good, because this is the name of the developers that made daytona USA 100 years ago even though 99% of those devs no longer work at sega?

They already do this, the real meme is it's never going to actually happen.

As much as I want a new F-Zero, I doubt Nintendo will be able to make something at least on par with GX, never mind superior. They have to somehow compete with the likes of Redout on PC while not alienating the Switch 2 customer base, which is way more kiddie/casual than the GameCube was. Idk if Switch 2 online is any good, but I've come to just write off anything Nintendo online anyway. Also, we have to pray the monkey paw doesn't impose motion controls or some other gimmick like Mario Kart World wall riding. Would a true successor to GX be great? Yeah, but the chances we actually get that seem far lower than getting something mediocre or objectively worse.

Unless they make it a Snes style game this is impossible. Think of how many fast moving 3d models would be on screen on at the same time and what they could do to how the game runs.

This. Star Fox and F-Zero are the two Nintendo series that have been locked to "just here to make the roster of IP bigger/look cooler" status.

I'm not really sure I want a new F-Zero. Nothing modern Nintendo or Sega do suggests they'd be able to make something great with a series like it. My biggest worry is that, if it gets revived, it will lack a truly distinct style to it like the games that came before it did. The original, X, and GX (and even the GBA games) all had their own distinct aesthetics and music styles and a modern F-Zero would probably lean too hard on the SNES look while retreading the jazz-fusion sound while also sanding off any edges that made the original cool and distinct.

I want you to kill yourself for making dogshit "BRO TRUST ME" posts about games you haven't even fucking played because you're a braindead 'toddler, and I'm giving (You) a reply solely because I like F-Zero.
