>Do you like 3d platformers?Yes, but I think the margin for error is higher. It's harder to make interesting levels in 3D in my opinion. The main issue being that most obstacles you can just avoid. Mega Man X7 is a great example - they took the Mega Man formula and did nothing to update it into 3D so during the 3D segments you can often just run straight past all the enemies.
Platformer series that focus on combat don't translate well into 3D. That's why Mega Man X7 and Kirby Forgotten Land turned out like they did.
