No one wants this. DS2 and 3 both sucked. Fromsoft is bad at making direct sequels and expanded lore and they excell at creating new worlds and new lore.

You've never even listened to the lore of the first game, yet you dickride it, negro. Who was the traitor to Havel's plot against the gods? Where was his band of warriors first ambushed? Where did they flee to in their fighting retreat? How did the few of them that escaped do so? What happened to Havel after (don't jump to DaS3 yet. There was lore of him in dark souls 2 as well)

Havel's alluded to in das2 lore as the bishop of Loraine caste in a few items. I think he's referenced a few times in the lore videos on "Flynn". You know, the the god or person or whatever that it was speculated that Gywnevere left Anor Londo with. As in Havel might have left with them as well

But of course, we see the most likely candidate for the actual havel in dark souls 3 near the firstborn son/nameless king

As far as the actual things I mentioned,

Ambushed-> the catacombs/that area after Pinwheel
Retreated -> down to ancient lake where the ancient dragon is
How they got away -> fractured the ancient tree as they were fighting in it

It is. They literally ripped anor Londo off from the first game and only have three more areas (Lothric castle, the forest, and that swamp where the abyss watchers are) after that.

Also the multi-player was shit and the story was ass. Outclassed by Dark Souls 2 in every way. Das3 is even beaten by Lmaoborne. Lol

I would rather a remake of the first game so that it becomes playable by today's standards.

I wouldn't mind seeing an installment set either during Gwyn's time or long, long into the future when it wouldn't even be possible to link the Fire any more even if anybody wanted to. Hollows only and life itself being a distant memory for everybody, Deep abominations breaking in and causing havok everywhere, no bonfires or pyromancy and exerything revolving around Humanity and its aquisition.
But Miyazaki said he's done with the series and he said it with DS3 where the central theme of the game is "Stop dragging shit on just because you're too scared to let go." so any sequel is going to be soulless.

Sadly it would be open world slop & le ebin anime boss fights.
