Why do scientists hate dinosaurs so much?

A lot of people always saw dinosaurs as "cool monsters" that were real, and not as animals. Otherwise you wouldn't see so much butthurt about this shit. Many people complain about "dinos not being cool anymore". That's such a childish motivation.
