They are niche and have different uses. There's two spells you later get at the burning forest, an aoe blood bomb from the boss that destroys grouped up mobs and a triple fire ball attack that deals crazy damage on large enemies. Bit of a random question.
I have cleared the Shu Sanctum and the underground opening the way to the next zone but despite all i explored the surrounds of the Shu Sanctum there is still a zone i havent been able to visit.
Haven't been able to get "past" the sanctum. Once you enter the building you can go to the right and deal with some bandits, there is a door nearby that can't be opened from that side so i have to go there from the other side.
That side is the part i havent been able to find a way to. Anybody have any idea what im talking about?

Look around more, there's a path you missed. Doors opening from one side are shortcuts. In the first chapter it's actually very easy to miss a whole area you're supposed to do before the temu blight town underground.

Oh but I do. The less core mechanics there are, the shittier the gameplay is: the idea of putting completely different approaches to the same slot is definitely going to make balancing bosses easier, but it will also make the gameplay as deep as a puddle.
I grew up with blocking being default in pretty much every action game. Why the fuck are we going backwards? Just so we can have marginally more photorealistic graphics that come at the cost of performances so bad we aren't even allowed to turn off upscaling?
