They're normalfags in denial. I played an MMO with two of my normalfag friends. I played three times as much as them and was a huge socialite. They dragged me into trouble pretty often, though, because they're both compulsive liars and would freely dox us and all our friends to others. They sometimes got mad at me for treating the players in-game like real people whenever I'd say stuff like, "You shouldn't steal from them/lie to them/etc."
After 5 years, I quit the game and moved on to a different one. I never talked to any of them outside the game and didn't feel like I had any real friends left when I quit. To me, they're all characters from a video game I played 20 years ago and I have no idea where they all are now.
For my two normalfag friends, however, it was completely different. One of them is still friends with half a dozen people from the game to this day. He used to steal from people, but those people never stopped being his friend because of it. In fact, he never actually paid for the game. He technically played longer than all of us but never spent a penny on it, he always convinced others to let him make characters on their accounts instead, and people would give him their accounts when they quit the game, so by the time he stopped playing, he was controlling entire parties by himself.
The other was in a guild with me that was an entire scam, but he stayed friends with the guild leaders after the fact and even joined them in another game. He met one of the girls from that group irl and banged her. He also became friends with two lesbians and flew across the country to fuck them, too. He also had the server slut drive across the country to live with him for a few months. He also has a gay sugar daddy for years; he figured out he wasn't gay and was just using him, but didn't care.
