Only if you consider chronic sleep deprivation, anime wall scrolls, and a ratio of 1 shower per gaming season cute. But hey, confidence hits +10 when you're posting with an aqua reaction image.

this and never aiming at a wall, especially when cornering.
for instance in pic related, when rounding the corner to the right your crosshair should always be about that far off the wall. it's often instinctual to point at the wall or corner as your going around.
you can break this habit by separating your aim point (where you're aiming) and eye point (where you're looking).
look at the corner, but always hold your crosshair to the left if rounding right, or right when rounding left. feels a little weird at first but this way you're always aiming where the person is GOING to be.
same for camping a corner. aim where they're going to be and compensate for your shit reaction time. so aim about a half inch off the corner expecting them to run out and IN TO your crosshair

in pic related meant that you should be aiming at A the whole time, when often you'll notice that you unconsciously are aiming at B

The hell? I used to hear you need to up the sensitivity to actually look around fast enough, and only lower it if you're a dedicated camper clicking heads all day. I guess these gaymer mouse mats are ridiculously large for a reason, huh.

Make sure to make your crosshair something simple, like a small dot with a colour that is always visible, like lemon lime.

What's the appropriate sens for CS? I use 4x in-game on 1600 DPI.

800 DPI 1x with an acceptable variation of 30% more (high sens) or 30% less (low sens)

high sensitivity fingertip grip with good mousepad and mouse feet and very lightweight mouse is an unbeatable combo but very difficult to obtain one of each that's to your liking
low sens is just a psyop by the 4:3 jiheishou to compensate for trash worn out PTFE mouse pads and mousefeet
don't settle for mediocrity with your aim in FPS games.

depends on a lot of factors. in cs2 i use 50cm on my skypad using an m3k with obsidian pros and it's perfect, i couldn't do that with my op18k

Yeah, higher sensitivity means more margin for error unless you have the hands of a surgeon, and most people don't.

It's already been figured out by quake players back in the 90s that high dpi is the best for fast unfatiguing movements
You are also supposed to play with very low in game sensitivity and the highest DPI your mouse supports without pushing the sensor too far or causing bugs in game(the sweet spot seems to be 12800dpi ime but experiment on your mouse)
This is because the game just multiplies the number of pixels the mouse moved with (magicnumber*ingamesensitivity)
It's baffling that pro cs players don't know these basic things, the inverse(high in game sens, low dpi) can also be used on purpose to have better stability over an axis but that makes it harder to hit far away targets.

>>716535492
Too much sensitivity makes it so much harder to move your cursor/crosshair where you want. So you want to reduce sensitivity as much as you can get away with assuming traditional aiming.
What is so complicated about this concept?
Anonymous No.716536895 [Report] >>716537974
>>716536497
The mouse is difficult to move because it is too heavy and/or there is too much friction.
Get a lightweight mouse and HDPE mousefeet or similar(tj exclusives is good, low friction for small movements but slightly higher for larger movements and it hardly wears out) and those problems go away.
Unpolished glass feet/pads have the opposite problem, so little friction it becomes impossible to stabilize aiming and simply clicking throws off your aim so impossible to aim with semi auto weapons.

What is your argument even? Everyone should crank up their dpi to 99999 and wrist aim?

you should be using all three muscle groups (fingers, wrist, arm) to aim
