fist and kicks can knock you on your fucking ass, are quick as shit, and cant deflect/clash. can't dodge all of the combos on their insane tracking because of how fast they are

fun fact with that weapon its really good quality scaling and its basic attacks are longer range too without the skill
and tempering with poise makes the skill do something cool but i haven't tried it yet

i know tempering fire with the fire longsword makes it shoot out balls of fire after you use the skill

Just beat Centipede on 3rd try, enjoyed it more than the 3 previous bosses

Centipede > first guy who burns the arena > the priest (jobber whatever) > the bitch in OP (super jank, I think it was the first boss they designed for the first demo so instead of cutting it they just made it optional)

I hate how half my boss deaths happen because they keep hitting when I'm getting up.

notBlighttown was OK, smaller more linear level actually welcome after huge Sanctum but level design less tight. Upper level with kicking down ladder shortcut is pointless and empty. Bonfire at entrance is superfluous, even the second one is questionable (right after 2 shortcuts so no challenge, just a long runback). No secret under elevators! Pretty easy to not get poisoned, it's poison swamp level in visuals only. Floor spike and wall arrow traps placements are completely thoughtless. Repeats the same crumbling item pickup floor gotcha twice.

the game seems to balance encounters with different weapons in mind so it's schizo difficulty curve is well, all over the place.

i would love to experiment but when an encounter is designed around weapon parrying and the weapon you use doesn't have a deflect, it leaves a sour taste in your mouth.

Wuchang although the controversy can still mogs most fromslops and other souslike in terms of map design, level design, weapons, armors, bosses, etc. Nips are just clones from some western generic bosses and nothing more. I managed to get almost every weapon in my first play through with no guide and I just doubled checked. A whopping 3 questlines are required to get 3 weapons out of 24.
