Placing an item so important in a dark corner off the actual (optional)l zone progression path with nothing else there is one of the Ls of this game. I only played through the game once. I'm not doing the same 99% of the game to find another weapon and just shrug because it's another str + fth trash. Scattering shit randomly everywhere around is boring and locking players out of entire zones because they didn't find that one specific item out of hundreds is just retarded. It's bot a copy paste mausoleum, it's one of the biggest lore relevant legacy dungs in the game.

In dark souls you legit had no idea where to go so you just ran around, and maybe it was right or wrong in elden ring you know precisely where to go but explored because all the other games taught you to do that.
