I played the second half of Katherine on easy after losing 3 levels of progress. Fuck you it's a PS3/360 era game, put in auto save.

losing progress sucks, but making so much progress and then being able to safely save or pause feels good as fuck

Same. And if my car gets a flat tire I go and pop the other 3 tires and abandon the car. Fuck losing progress.

this is why i only play games where i can quick save and quick load any time
