Just saw the new trailers for the Trails in the Sky remake. The game is looking great, but you can really tell that it's a different localisation company. There's already two big screwups in this trailer alone.

I've no clue really. While she did punch a few people, she is pretty much always fighting with her weapons (since it's not like you can separate them from her) and her style is self-taught, so i'm not sure how her performance would look like if it came down to just hand2hand. Well, whatever style she'd try to use, it certainly wouldn't be that bad considering that at the end of the day, she is really battle-savvy and her physical ability is on a superhuman level so it's not like she'd be completely hopeless in that scenario.

the show itself was bad. There's a certain rhythm that mainline Nintendo Directs have that makes them satisfying, which other Directs struggle with. I agree with this, the whole deal with the key card shit however is it's the worst aspects of both digital and physical. It's a download with a piece of plastic attached to it. So when, not if but WHEN the download servers finally go down it becomes just an inert piece of plastic. And sure, emulation and piracy solve the issue of the games being playable, but I like to COLLECT official hard copies of games I own. That is how I enjoy the hobby, and it's the only way I feel comfortable paying full price for a new game.

Nintendo giving 3rd party devs 64gb cards likely stems from them telling devs to trim the fat from their games. Puyo Puyo doesn't need a 64 gb card, it also doesn't need to be a Switch 2 exclusive. But the publishers made it so. So Nintendo's calling their bluff.
