HxH looks like it needs another year in development. 2XKO is doa. Tokon will be okay for a few years. I don't really like Arc System Works games outside of BB. It has a story mode movie that's like 3 hours long that's built off the plot of 4 games you didn't play, an arcade mode for each character and I subjectively think the gameplay is fun at a casual level so I would say yes if its within your expendable budget funds, especially if you have friends to play it with.

Adding a new move to a character has far more implication than making an EX Variant with a different moveset, it can completely change how a character plays because it interacts with the already existing kit

Chipp's rope for example might just be one move but it gives him great conversion ability, insane mixes and is still an ok traversal tool, which adds up with his already good pressure/super wallbreak ability and acts as a significant buff

They say it will appeal to beginners due to their “flux” (read: autocombo) system which is fun for about 5 minutes before beginners get tired of alternating between mashing light and medium, but league of legends is the least beginner friendly IP imaginable and the game has anti-beginner grimy anime mixups
This game has an identity crisis and despite a decade of development, appears mediocre in every aspect other than its visuals which are purely a reflection of its budget, and even then arcsys consistently produces visuals of similar quality
