>>717061210Easy mode: remove the Susie-Noelle stuff, it's omegacringe and takes up way too much screen time, plus it's taking up a huge portion of Noelle's character and forcing a lot of people to gloss over the rest of her, effectively making her two-dimensional despite having all this other shit going on. Become friends over the course of the game, that's it.
Hard mode: remove all the relationship stuff entirely, all of it, from Noelle having a crush on Susie/Kris, to Sans with Toriel, to all the dumping on Asgore, to the maybe-sorta-kinda with Tenna and Spamton. Zero. Nothing. Wipe it clean. All it's there for is to get fans' juices flowing and arguing so they make video essays on YT.
>>717061506Dunno man, there's so many theories and shit that it's hard to pick.
Could've narrowed it down by asking for "worst plausible" theory, but eh.
For me, it's half the "this character is FRIEND" shit because we know so little about FRIEND in the first place, and that makes most theories regarding it super cringe as fuck, dipping face-first into fanfiction. It's like trying to make theories about where Papyrus is. Half the time these niggas just build theories off other people's theories using other other people's theories as inspiration. Hell, Gaster theories are more likely to have solid evidence than whatever the fuck is up with this cat, and Gaster's a mostly-unknown entity too.
Not like theories really matter much anyway, anyone with half a brain knows that whenever theories sprout up about a series in-development, the writer/author can say "oh, that sounds like a good idea" and implement that into their series and pretend it was always planned, or "oh fuck, they figured it out already" and change/tweak it so they're wrong. Toby's got years between games, he can change all he wants and nobody will ever know.
(I used to write a ton and wanted to become a legit novel writer until books in general shat the bed. Ended up just writing a fuckload online for free instead.)
