More than half the players used ARs and carbines in BF4 because of class system. DMRs will always have low pick rates because people are allergic to semi autos. Shotguns will always have low pick rates because they are so situational. Carbines are the only option for people who wants to use automatics outside their class weapon. If people wants to use carbines or ARs or SMGs outside of said classes just give it to them. It will create more variety than AEK/ACWRblob meta of BF4.

there are like 10 full euro servers at all times for conquest alone. surprisingly there are way more east asian servers for some reason (im guessing SEAmonkeys). at peak hours there are usually 15 full euro conquest servers and many more around 50-55 players in them. other game modes are kinda dead but conquest is extremely populated still.

Well battlefield is a 64 player game so it’s way harder to implement SBMM into the game.
