Completely different game then minecraft. It's a pretty linear game where as minecraft is endless autism open world

The worlds aren't a massive empty nothing that requires 1 billion steps between anything remotely interesting.

There's an actual incentive to build cool shit.

The progression is better than "get iron tools 10 minutes after spawning in and diamonds 1 hour in (optional)".

Bosses are good at high difficulties, you actually need to dodge and make arenas.

There's multiple "classes" you can become as the game goes on, each with different progressions.

Exploration and experimentation is very much rewarded, and the game is quite intuitive if you decide to use your brain

I've always disliked Minecraft but love Terraria. For me it's consistent goals, progression, loot, and a more fun world to explore.
I'll never forget the first time the Martians attacked. We had no idea what was going on and it was so much fun.
