You need to let go. Suffering and feel bad will always exist. Those are inherent part of life.

If Maruki could actually do what he claimed he wanted to do, it would be arguable that he's right.

The biggest problem is that he's full of shit, though. He is wildly unfair and arbitrary in how he uses his power. For example, lets say there's one "widget", and more than one person wants to have the "widget". The Maruki solution to this problem is to first default to giving the "widget" to whoever he knows the best, because he's extremely bias. Then after that I guess he just goes with whoever asks first?
He also has the mindset that if someone is getting raped, it's better to just make them like being raped instead of stop the rape. His overall system is beneficial to abusive and self-centered people and harmful to easy going people.

Aside from his failures to be impartial, his powers also seem to be deeply flaws and have a tendency for people to just randomly snap out of their fake memories sometimes. The whole system is also going to be rife with human error since Maruki frequently reveals himself as an extremely incompetent perpetual fuckup, putting him in charge of something so important is a horrible idea in the long term
