You don't need incredible art skills to make it fappable enough, but you probably need a fair amount of experience to make decent process and not give up after 2 weeks. Unless you want to do a Summertime Saga and work for 1 hour a week over 15 years, but these days there is a lot more competition and a lot less tolerance for patreon scamming.
As for the game itself, Renpy is braindead easy. Even women can do it. For a porn game most of the effort will come from having to draw an insane amount of art.
