She has access to Galeforce, Nosferatu tanking, infinite reclassing to almost every class in the game, and insane EXP gain. The only downside is she doesn't start as broken as Sigurd, but that changes by chapter 3 or so no problem.

I have a confession to make.
I've struggled with Awakening's hard classic mode, had to restart chapters fairly frequently, and dropped it around chapter 16.
It's still one of my favorite games in the series and Lucina is best girl.

Chrom isn't actually important long term and he is realistically perpetually underleveled on higher difficulties, since his combat is not fantastic. The reason he's attached to Robin is because you can't undeploy him, so it just makes sense to attach him to Robin like a remora if you're lowmanning.

Galeforce is overrated because it requires you to spend 15 levels in a mediocre class and in a lot of maps it doesnt actually save any time compared to just using a half decent rescue staffer (Lissa, Libra, Anna).
Nosferatu has a single copy before Chapter 13 makes them infinitely buyable. Sol tanking via Hero with 1-2 range weapons with your carry is something that a lot of people ignore for whatever reason.

Chrom's usefulness in a run is insanely underrated because people dont realize the sheer amount of kill confirms that he enables thanks to his consistent Dual Strike procs and speed boost via pair up. Chrom's dual strikes also help to make Grima more tolerable if you didnt raise a super brave unit (usually a Warrior with a brave bow).

Because Chrobin solo is sound advice for a newbie playing Lunatic. But there's this bizarre counternarrative that you should complicate a simple game for retards beyond that.
I personally use more pairs than just Chrobin, but it doesn't make the game "easier." Using Libra and Lissa to set up long rescue chains and 1 turning maps is kinda neat in a dumb way, but it's actively making the game harder, because you're deploying an obvious liability, whereas NosRobin just can't die.
My advice is always lowman it if you want easy time; and then add additional units and strategies to comfort level from there, but understand you're complicating a simple thing in doing so.

Yes. Edelgard has massive control issues based in her trauma from being in a Slither rape dungeon. That's why her positions about the church are contradictory and she does things like conquer and antagonize neutral nations for no reason. She's not logical and motivated mainly by emotion. Ironically, she mirrors Rhea in this way who is also motivated by her trauma albeit more benevolently.

It's actually pretty good writing and that's why I think she's a great villain.
