Why we ever get another RE game with tank controls and fixed camera angles?

>dude it's le....LE CLUNKY
These disengenious faggots did so much damage that we will never EVER get another RE game

If you give the player the control over the camera the game instantly loses atmosphere and suspense and the only way for devs to make up for it is introducing more jumpscares. Tank controls are a necessary evil.

No, we won't. And that's a GOOD thing.

This is actually true. I've tried to play classic RE with lower IQ friends and they cannot. There is no learning curve, they just fail to comprehend the controls and become increasingly frustrated for an hour until they give up and get angry. I have seen this more than once.

Reminder to everyone ITT that the RE2 Remake with the fixed camera mod is maybe the best classic RE experience yet, unironically. Try it

We will never get these types of games again, most people will point to gamers being idiots or some out of touch suit. But unfortunately its most likely that game developers simply refuse to make them anymore.
Can't track it down exactly, but there was this interview with Mikami where some guy asked when he was going to make a classic RE game, and he was like hell no why would you want that its "obsolete"?

RE? no. but survival horrors with fixed camera angles and tank controls come out every now and then.

not unless the series is on its last legs, and capcom gets desperate, which I don't see happening anytime soon.
