The other temples do a pretty good job of looping back in on themselves. I think the only really egregious ones that don't have lobby-ish rooms that you regularly return to are Fire and Shadow, and Fire's only like that because you have to unlock all the Goron cells to start giving you shortcuts back to other areas. Shadow's design is a lot of cramped hallways, and it never really lingers in any of its expansive rooms for long enough to feel like it's anything but hallway spelunking.

Even movie man himself, Hideo Kojima knew to let player skip cutscenes if they wanted. Miyamoto lacked this foresight and doubled down wanting to make the most cinematic game ever.
