Inafune and Ben Judd are just THAT god damn stupid. Judd is the wormtongue figure: "outsource to cheap western devs" and Inafune fell for it hook line and sinker. A little deeper digging shows Judd was the wrecking crew behind much of Japan's woes from 2009 to 2016, including Platinum Games Scalebound, MN9, and Bionic Commando 2009. I think that man personally wasted like at least 50-75 million dollars of other people's money on bullshit games that went nowhere.
