there are two scores systems
the first one is the one you're referring to, points you earn when you connect pieces, but if you're the first place in the room, and have 4 times the minimum amount to add a song to the jukebox, then each time you connect pieces there's a random (1/8) chance that between 1/3 and 1/4 of your points get redistributed to the player with the least points in the room, that player won't know they got the points until they refresh or connect a piece. these points are purely used for shitpost mechanics like the /impact, /card commands, jigchan feeding, jukebox songs and whatever,
then there's the second score system that's purely tracking the number of connections you've made, that you can see with the /scores command or at the end of the room.
