No, they don't. If you actually played them instead of posting on 4chan, the length wouldn't matter. What's the difference between playing one game for 750 hours and 15 games for 50 hours?
I have no idea what the fuck that means. Reply after I've filtered the thread. I need to go stomp these threads full of shitskins, which is the only thing I find novel.

true. not too short, obviously, but a bit shorter wouldn't be so bad. sometimes the story benefits from a LITTLE bit more focus. i still want a decent sized game, ofc..

This is what we call a "midwit take." You haven't even bothered to consider the quality of those hours, just the quantity. There are plenty of games that pad out their runtime with boring shit you're forced to go through.
Or maybe just anything is good enough for you as long as it occupies your time.

I'm playing Jedi Survivor and so far it's pretty much "go down The Optional Corridor and find An Impenetrable Barrier (come back later)" then follow the mission marker a bit then go down Another Optional Corridor only to find out I don't have The Skill to open the passage yet then I complete the quest and go back to the main hub and get a side quest and follow the marker only to find out I don't have The Skill required to open The Door yet and I will have to come back

I've been getting a bunch of youtube shorts of this show, and it seems pretty decent
Is it good?
I mainly like the guy in the op, and then that hot girl with the smoker trans voice

because I AM the main character and EVERY THING NEEDS TO REVOLVE AROUND ME, if it doesnt i bitch and complain until it does. GAME DEVS NEED TO PANDER ONLY TO ME YOU FAGGOT

It's funny because a lot of older games are still just as bloated
Example: all those beat em ups that make the game longer by making you fight damage sponges that are also recolors of bosses you already fought

filtered, anyways if it isnt funny for entertaining for you just drop it. better to drop something rather than force yourself just to like something because other people like it

The entire point is to learn those boss patterns to fight them on the regular. You're also playing a beat em up which means most enemies will take more than a single hit to kill. Whittling down health while having mob control is a big part of beat em ups. If you don't like that then you don't like the genre and you're better off playing a side scrolling action game like Splatterhouse or Altered Beast.

brainlet take
padding in games almost always takes the form of interruptions to gameplay, forcing the player to spend time on traversal, which is not meaningful content
This is why all open world games are trash
