On CoD it was a different story though, I played on CuF server, we had PB active, admins decided to get rid of it cause the gun and run server had many mods who created conflicts and crashed both connected clients and the server itself. We were a self moderated community, nevertheless people from another clan who for me and many others were dirty, did cheat, I made clips and demos of them cheating, they were simply told to remove tags and change nicknames and they kept on cheating, but we managed to force admins to keep them under control, so many times if they connected to cheat and do their rounds and found people like me who were online 18 hours a day, they simply had to GTFO.
CuF also had some internal cheating problems, different members were caught and banned but I wasn't partaking their drama so gg. On the MTL server admin/console was present nearly 24/7, if people had to cheat they had to be very good at it cause they stand no chances.
Let's see what else, Flashpoint and ArmA had a cheating problem, this was on different tiers, specially with TKC running two sometimes three community server under the tags of J4F, 1st Guns/NoRE and the remnants of the SF clan, their server was a cheating paradise, but if you run the TKC client you were getting banned upon respawning, I've inspected their client and found why I could not cheat on their server, but I could easily cheat on a server on which I was also an admin and we had heavy check for it, found also that they were using renamed addons/mods such as a complete sound replacement mod which also changed value of weapons and armor. They tried many times to cheat on one of ours CTI server and failed cause I was present, but yeah you had many ways to cheat on OFP, everyone knew that and good players always avoid those servers and moved to small ones.
