Most hobbits always have hairy feet and don't grow beards. Imagine if they accurately depicted their skin color, your ignorance of the lore would be making you even madder lol.

At least this is somewhat useful for creating a more nuanced character and actually makes it clear which is masculine and which is feminine. If you could alter the shape after the fact then I wouldn't mind at all.
