Can Tegenaria's back buttons only be bound to other buttons?
Is it normal for them to only work as macros? (e.g. bind A to L4, hold L4, sends a quick A tap)

I like my g7 well enough, nothing to write home about. Don’t know much about D pads, but had a hell of a time getting a quick up + down to register for tony hawk. How’s that dj khalid model?

Should be detected as an Xbox, DS4, or Switch controller depending on the selected input mode and handled by the system as such. The app's for customization, not actually connecting.

linux works with both dinput and xinput controllers. if your distro does not ship with gamepad drivers you have to look up which ones to install.
its not rocket science most of the time libinput is already preinstalled.

I got an 8bitdo Ultimate 1 for my Switch and the case was screwed together too tightly, to the point where the right stick would get stuck in the down left position. I fixed it by jamming some paper between the case halves, but it's obviously not ideal. Besides that it's been a solid controller.
I got the nova 2 lite and it's fine so far, save for the d-pad, it feels a bit funky but not a deal breaker for me.
The brand name is pretty unfortunate.
