Guys, can anyone help me a little with GTA:SA? I'm playing the PS2 ver., no cheats
>early game
>beat all missions close to my house—Ryder, Big Smoke, etc.
>now only have Cesar and OG Loc missions available
>they are super far away from the only save point I have, if i get killed/fail I will waste a ton of time
>only have $2k, cheapest safe house is $10k
Am I doing something wrong? I didn't explore much, just did missions. Tried doing taxi missions, the pay is too low.

Pimpin pays pretty well
theres a gas station near where the lowrider meet is
should be a convertible there. Do all 10/12 rounds and you should have 10K + bonus

That or cheese burglaries with two close houses if you unlocked that

horse racing in downtown LS can make big bucks but again you want another 10K first for the safe house nearby

Do side missions (taxi, delivery, stealing, firetruck etc...) or kill drug dealers (they carry usually 2k amount)

What's your question exactly? The lack of money?
Taxi missions really ramp up in rewards if you keep doing them consecutively. Just put up some radio station you like and keep going. Same for ambulance, pimp and vigilante missions.

There is a coner store convenice mart near CJ's house that is NOT marked on the map. There you can be hired to do courier missions and they pay well. Every day afterwards you get 2K. This breaks the early game economy, which assumes 100 dollars is a lot of money. So you should have enough to buy a house pretty soon.

Doesn't the game fucking reload you at checkpoints in the mission? You can also get across LS in like 4 or 5 minutes. I know this is b8 but there are actually people this retarded and it pisses me off

the only mission in the ps2 and pre-defective pc/xbox editions that has checkpoints is the last one, there are 2: getting to the top of the crack palace, and then just before the chase after you go down

So I went to do the beach dance mission and it requires 4000 points to pass instead of 2500 on PC

getting body armor is the most important thing to make most missions easier

Also, if you're stuck at the OG Loc bike mission you don't have to kill your target on the bike! just carefully chase him and eventually they will stop.
