All of my video recommendations are vtubers reacting to Meet the Team. One: why? Two: how the fuck are there this many people that have never heard of or seen TF2 before?

Here’s a tip. Your recommendations on Youtube are primarily based on your watch history. You can go scorched earth and restart by deleting it all. And you can also selectively delete videos if you watched something you don’t want reflected in your recommendations.

Mine is pretty solid. It recommends vocaloids if I'm listening to vocaloid music, bing bing wahoo video game music if I'm listening to video game music and pretty much nothing else.

If your wondering why a bunch of people are reacting its a bunch of zoomers ages 18-25 who didn't get online proper till the early 2010s when Smartphones became completely commonplace, and didn't become "online" till the alter 2010s.
Because of this they completely missed TF2's cultural heyday in ways that even members of their own generation who did go online before smart phones didn't.

I disabled youtubes ability to save my watch history which disables for you page entirely and only use the subsciptions tab now with the occasional sidebar recommendation that are based on whatever video I'm viewing. Most of the shit on youtube isn't worth watching just put on music or do literally anything else instead.

YouTube serves up nothing but braindead slop now, I need to stop watching so much of it
