The fact that he is criticized so heavily is why /v/idya never could reach /lit/erature in regards to writing.
Instead slop like TLoU2 and nuGoW get praised by the masses for writing when they're below shit like Breaking Bad in regards to depth and complexity.
Also note that almost the entirety of the content relevant to New Vegas and Ulysses actually stems from New Vegas itself, and relies very little on stuff from Fallout 1 or 2 (outside the setting)
New Vegas is one of the best written games, and most people cannot see it for what it truly is.
