I picked up one recently. It's exactly what I thought it would be, except I find the dudes ugly.

I was in the mood for a VN and pirated one on the vita about the shinsengumi. I got about 5 minutes in before realizing it was for girls and dropping it.

Way back in the day when this game first got attention on /v/ for being a dating sim starring a fatty who gets bullied into losing weight. I remember it being surprisingly enjoyable.

I tried one when Sony used to throw them on PS+.

They're just galge games but reversed. Otome authors sometimes go HARD on actually having a plot, weirdly enough. "Here's your husbandos but now let me draw you in to my Victorian steampunk story where everyone has a fancy hat"
