The game itself isn't bad but there is literally zero point to any of the secret shines because none of them contribute towards anything or to beating the game. In 64 and Galaxy, ever star you collected mattered. In Sunshine, you just need to do the first 6 (I think) episodes of each level to beat the game, rather than a star count like 64 and Galaxy. And if you decide to go for all stars, you don't unlock a new character like you do in Galaxy. It makes doing everything that isn't the main story feel very pointless, especially when 99% of the secret shines are not fun at all.
