They can be fun in their contained stories. But the way Marvel and DC insist that they all must exist within shared universe just feels lame and stake cheapening to me, especially when they also include billion multiverses to make all alternative and what-if takes canon too. I sometimes read the old silly comics before they went full retard with worldbuilding and the retardation was of funny and creative kind.
