I think the problem is both

and then if you step back and look at the wider picture
>youtube encourages terrible video making
>every game right now is slop and bad
I wouldn't know how you fix either. YouTube seems to be doing fine, if the numbers are true, because advertisers are paying for the slop, but gaming? I don't know who's paying for all these flops and how the market got to this point.
