Your Turn To Die Final Chapter
nankidai delivered
kimi ga shine is quite literally a kamige
what a game I'm glad to have waited all these years
still have trouble understanding the ending of chapter 3-2
Ranmaru Kageyama actually being a younger clone of the memorandum guy (Shinobu Gokujo) who survived the Hades incident was amazing. So obvious in retrospect (white hair, really hard simp for Sara) but it was executed well. "Sara the human got switched with a doll before chapter 2's main game" twist really came out of left field for me though. Nothing was foreshadowing it. Moreover I feel like the Chidouin dad/Meister reveal wasn't given the narrative focus it needed. It was practically confirmed since the teaser at the end of the 2-2 if you spare Kanna that he was involved in the death games somehow...
As expected, Joe knew Kai was one of the kidnappers.
Inevitably, the more we came to learn about the inner workings of Asunaro the less interesting the organization turned out to be. It was already an issue with the Kai flashback story, but seeing how the floor masters like Gashu or Miley became crazy just because of corporate pressure felt comparatively weak, when you see how unhinged their actions were during the death game. But the fact the simulations didn't account for their interference and that the various internal management conflict was ultimately what led to Asunaro's demise in the Sou/logic route route was very well done and thematically it made sense.
Talking about the routes, it's a shame that I'm running out ideas for fake spoilers. Game isn't out and reply to this post or your mother dies in her sleep
the western fandom is unironically not ready for this level of raw unfiltered kino. I hope vgperson translates it soon
