There is no "correct settings". You create a custom configuration per game to avoid crashes and increase performance. Check the rpcs3 wiki to check compatibility of each game. Also every single setting in the emulator has a tooltip telling you exactly what it does, which value does what and how it impacts performance.

rpcs3 is dogshit not because of performance but because of constant regressions and random crashes. Friendly reminder that every single update might:
-Break the game if you have updated it
-Break vulkan regardless of driver
-Introduce more random crashes
-Cause resistance 3 to eat even more vram
-Force games to use color buffer which lowers performance
The list goes on.
It doesn't matter that you might have a functioning emulator now, elad will break something soon and having to hunt down functioning versions is tiring. Ps3 and 360 emulation is dogshit.

I tried it, had a weird bug where it was running at like 2fps but turning on the settings menu would show it running perfectly (the menu was translucent) the menu in question was a rpcs3 one and not an in-game one.

I literally played through Yakuza 3 4 and 5 on it back in 2021 when they were all still PS3 exclusives, it did its thing for me
