Wizards are even worse. Atleast the power of a sorcerer comes from within, so just doing things making them stronger makes sense.

Why would they be? The magic in your bloodline can come for a number of sources. Even if it comes from devil/demon blood, it might not manifest fully it does for tieflings. Tieflings can still have two human parents.
